Students at Pennsylvania Western University are invited to attend the region’s largest collegiate career fair – either virtually or in-person.
The WestPACS Collegiate Career Fair features the largest job, internship and graduate school fair for college students and alumni throughout western Pennsylvania and surrounding regions.
This year, more than 150 employers are scheduled to meet with potential candidates and recruit most college majors for their organizations and companies.
“West PACS makes it easy for internship and job seekers to get face time with lots of potential employers in one place at one time – whether you choose to meet with employers of your choice in a one-on-one session or a group session,” said Christina Moreschi, director of career events and outreach at PennWest. “Students and alumni who attend and – are well prepared – tell us that they get interviews that lead to internships and jobs.”
Students are invited to attend the virtual fair from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Oct. 5 via Handshake. All attendees must register and schedule sessions with recruiters in advance at WestPACS Virtual.
All students are also invited to attend the in-person fair from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Oct. 12at the Monroeville Convention Center, 209 Mall Boulevard – just 13 miles east of Pittsburgh. Pre-registration required at WestPACS In-Person.
Kira Lester ’22, a California graduate who attended WestPACS in 2021,said that she left the convention with potential job opportunities and more information about her chosen career path.
“WestPACS was a great opportunity to see what the job market looked like for my field and what employers are looking for,” she said. “You get the time to ask important questions and get responses from people who have first-hand experience in the industry.”
