Two PennWest California students have placed in the top ten of the 9th-annual College Financial Plan Competition, hosted by the College Financial Association of Pittsburgh.

Computer science major Stephen Zacoi and finance major Kobe Norfleet placed sixth and ninth respectfully. They each will receive a $250 monetary prize.

The event challenges competitors to develop financial plans, addressing major financial planning areas including income, budget projection, risk management, debt management, savings, taxes, investments, and retirement planning.

This is the third year in a row that students from PennWest California have placed in the top ten of the competition.
